1st grade Valentines..

yay! we made our Valentines!! John just finished signing all 22 of them and i think they came out adorable... since my son is in the "allergy class" i wanted to stay away from any candy or chocolates so we decided to go with the bouncy ball idea.. and i am glad we did!

Book Barn

One of our favorite places to go when we are out East is the Book Barn.. it is an old historic hay barn that sells used books and some antiques.. this is where we donate all of our old books and buy some gently used ones... my son loves to pick out new books to read while we are out here (and they're only a dollar!)

painting with no worries..

We all know how we get when they ask.. "can we paint?" or "can we play with play doh?"..
Well that is what is sooo great about summer.. let them have fun outside and afterwards just wash them off with the hose :)
